Yes i think you can wear green eyeshadow if you have green eyes, I have blue eyes and use blue eyeshadow.

For help and ideas visit www.beauty.about.com. One idea is below.

1. Eye Shadow: Peach over the lid.

2. Eye Shadow #2: Dust a little light brown over the peach.

3. Eye Liner: Deep mossy Green

Ok, personally I would never use green eyeshadow. Even if I had green eyes. I suggest using a light shimmery eyeshadow for the lower lid, and putting a little darker brown right in the crease of the bone... Honestly I think that can look great on anyone! Because it looks really pretty if you do it right... The brand I suggest is Neutrogena mineral sheers : )

Hope I helped!

Purples look really pretty on green eyes... makes 'em pop. However... if you wanna try something extra special: Cover your lid up to the crease with a purple color and then line your eyes with a silver shadow. That looks sooo pretty! Peaches and golds also look pretty on green eyes, but the purple, like I said, makes them pop!

Actually, I've heard that if you have a particular color eye you should choose a different color shadow to bring out the green. I recommend a brown pinkish-brown shade. If you want to bring out the color of your eyes more, wear something in a similar color to your eye color, but the shadow should not be the same.

I would suggest something dark, like browns to contrast the green eyes. Too much green and your eyes will blend in rather than stand out.

Actually, green shadow will just blend in with the eye color. Grey, plum and browns would look great with green eyes. Even certain shades of blue can compliment green eyes. Lucky you, I always wanted green eyes, but got blue ones instead. :)

I think if you have green eyes you should make it real and not add any make up!! You will look pretty with out. or even just put on a light colored lipgloss. i wouldnt put any eye shadow.

If you have your heart set on green eye shadow make sure it is a lighter shade than your eyecolor. That will make your eyecolor stand out. It generally isn't recommended to wear the same color as your eyes. I'd try using mauve colors or muted berry colors.

I've heart that to bring out the color of your eyes you're supposed to wear eye showdow the opposite color of your eyes. But what is the opposite color of green? I've been told to wear green eye shadow & I have brown eyes. Go to the mall & have one of those make up people help you.

No...I love fashion too.... and I respect your idea...
I am a professional artist, and I am always using "complimentary" coloration to get the best results in bringing out the main color I want to highlight!
I can picture your green eyes swimming in the midst of a subtle forest of shimmiring kelly chartruse with an accent of warm, yellowish cream-colored hues. Remember...just a little bit goes a long way to make your eyes shine. You will look spectacular.
The link below is an example from my personal fave cosmetic brand!
