Has anyone had a good expirience with Yasmin?

I had been taking Orho Lo for almost a year. The pill had clear my skin, and i didn't gain to much weight, but it make me depress, tired almost all the time and lower my libido. My doctor change my BC to Yasmin. Has anyone had a good expirience with Yasmin? I mean no more depression, tired , weight gain, acne and a normal or higher libido?

Honestly, no. When I was on Yasmin I felt like you do now on Ortho Lo. However, if you're wanting a low dose pill, I'd try it for a few months to see if it helps, we're all different and my hormones are all screwed up. Try keeping a journal on how you feel while taking it to see if you have any changes. If you are still feeling like you do now, talk to your doctor again. There are many birth control options other than just the pills.

I'm currently on Yasmin and i didn't know it could cause any of the things you listed above but i have been experiencing some of those symptoms but i can't associate them with the pill.I have always suffered from depression which makes me tired and i normally have acne so that's pretty normal for me.I haven't had any weight gain from a birth control pill if i gain weight it's usually cause i'm eating too much not the pills fault.My libido was high for a while but now it's going down but i think as long as i haven't gotten pregnant then who cares.

I took it for almost 2 years and I really liked it. Yasmin is actually suppose to help you loose weight.....instead of gaining weight. My face cleared up a lot (although it was never perfect) and I never felt bad. Good luck with this!

Yasmin is great -libido is still strong .periods are easier,im not tired ,a little weight gain 5lbs or so .i like it alot,try it !
