Tarot cards, in and of themselves, are just a tool. They are neutral. It's the intent behind the practitioner that one has to watch out for.
I have a freind who uses the cards as a way of meditation. Each card in the deck has different meanings and can lead ones thoughts in a variety of directions.
Now, there are many people who are skeptical that tarot "readings" are a valid source of inspiration. If someone is so dependent on getting a "reading" before even putting their clothes on in the morning... well, I don't think that's healthy, and could harm the person if someone takes advantage of said person.
Others view tarot "readings" as something fun, not too serious and not harmful. Something done at a Halloween Party, or social event.
Others see it as a tool of the devil, I'd be afraid of those people anyways, they tend to see a lot of things as "of the devil" if they don't agree with it.
Just find your balance, if you want to get one, be careful, and if the place feels scary, leave... if it feels ok... stay...
If you're looking to get cards for yourself, there are many to choose from... find some that look nice, and feel nice in your hands.

Tarot card readings are taken from the energy of the person that shuffles the cards
Nothing to do with spirits good or bad only your own spirit.
It is not Black magic maybe you should buy a pack of tarot cards and learn more about them : )

More likely useless than bad.
For use as a divinatory device, the Tarot deck is dealt out in various patterns and interpreted by a gifted “reader.” The fact that the deck is not dealt out into the same pattern fifteen minutes later is rationalized by the occultists by claiming that in that short span of time, a person's fortune can change, too. That would seem to call for rather frequent readings if the system is to be of any use whatsoever.

What does "bad" mean? If playing ordinary cards is against your religion or ethics then it may be "bad", but Tarot was the origional cards from which the modern playing cards were derived.

Not if you're using it as a Hallowe'en diversion. As to whether it calls in bad spirits and black magic, it depends on how you read into it and whom the company is.

No. All tarot cards do is give one something to focus on. It causes one to concentrate and find the answers within.
In fact, when I got my very first set years ago, I prayed to God to bless my cards and help me to be more insightful.

Look, even if it could, if you're strong and you have faith in your god, the spirits and black magic can't hurt you.
They're only "bad" for those with weak characters and fearful minds.
