We supplied arms and training to:
Iraq
Iran (Iran Contra)
bin Laden (fighting Soviets in Afghanistan)
Contras
Israel
We also help Egypt and Turkey, both have proved to be good allies.
Those are just the ones I know off the top of my head.
Iran-Contra was the big one. George Bush Sr. negotiated a deal with the Iranians that were holding American hostages to continue holding them until after the election (TREASON), in return we sold them a lot of weaponry. We used that money, as it was hidden, to illegally fund the Contras in Nicaragua.

Not really. That's the big lie.
The USSR and Europe were Saddam's big suppliers we only supplied a couple hundred civilian pick up trucks, a few dozen civilian helicopters, and a couple of civilian airliners. No weapons at all. Saddam had to convert those gifts to military uses as we were trying to be neutral while we supported him against the Ayatollah. We also gave him about 400 million in credit to shop for civilian products in the US market.
The main supplier of military hardware was the USSR. The chemical weapons he fired from Russian guns, in Russian caliber shells, at Iranians were made from Russian suppliers. He was able to acquire some replacement components off our own markets and European markets but his people had to mix them themselves. Something not that hard to do as it is just an insecticide.
The Iranians were using US made weaponry left over from when the Shaw was in power. We were not supplying them with replacement parts. That is why Reagan got in trouble when he was exchanging weaponry to Iran for Americans kidnapped by Hezbollah in Lebanon. The Contras benefited from this as a Democrat congress supported the Communists. Nicaragua was later freed from the Communist as a result as was El Salvador from the Communist insurgents supplied from Nicaragua.
I have been unable to find anywhere any direct evidence that the US knowingly supplied our chemical weapons to Saddam. I have only found innuendo from the left. If anyone can show me this evidence I would be grateful.

yes. they sold them the ingredients to make chemical weapons to use on the iranians in the 1980-1987 gulf war. after that, the iraqis used them on the kurds in the north. the us refused to condemn it at the time, because iran was a big enemy, making iraq a friend by default. that's what comes of a lack of ethics in your foreign policy.

No. They didn't sell any.
They gave them several chemcial warheads for free to "try" against the Iranians in the Iran/Iraq war which served as a proxy war for the US/USSR.
