G. polyatomic ions are ions that have more than one element present in them (poly = many, atomic = atoms). NO3^- is the correct answer in this problem, but there are many polyatomic ions you will come in contact with in chemistry. This is a very common one, it's name is nitrate, and if you put a proton on the front of it you get HNO3, nitric acid, with is a very powerful/strong acid.
