Hi ,i do know a think or two about the pill ,i just came off it myself and i am 30 ,it takes a while for you`re body to get back to the cycle of periods after being on the pill for 4 years, could be another 2 weeks before you get your`re period and i think you won`nt get pregnant until you have had a full cycle .You are better to go to you`re nearest family planning they will tell you alot more and put you`re mind at ease and let them know everything ,that you are wanting to get pregant.
wish you luck ,one more piece of advise as i told you my age ,i still don`t feel really for children ,i am using condoms as the pill started to disagree with me ,i just hope you have thought alot about this as it life changing !
Of all the pregnacy tests i have ever used they have been 100%,i hope you all the best ,and don`t worry these things happen for a reason.

More than likely it is stress. I missed a period once while being under a lot of stress. You should take a pregnancy test after 2 weeks of missing your period, no sooner. I assume you have done this, already. 37 days is only one missed period (this happens to a lot of women), so wait for another full month, and if you don't get your period by that time, then see a doctor, but by what you say, I feel strongly that you are not pregnant.

Some women after discontinuing the pill do not have a regular cycle. So more than likely if you are not getting a posive you are not pregnant. If you conceived in September you would have had a positive test a long time ago ( it takes two to three weeks after conception to detect pregnancy not two months). However, if it makes you feel better you can go to the doctor and take a blood test. They are even more accurate than pregnancy tests (urine tests).

Well i guess it might still be possible you are pregnant but maybe only got pregant in the last 3 to 10 days then might not show on the test. Wait a week take another test and if no then you should see your doctor if your period has not started by then.

Most pregnancy tests are accurate now days. If they give an incorrect result it is usually a false positive. However, when I was pregnant for the first time, I took a pregnancy test that read negative, but it was because I took it too early. Try again in about a week or so. If not, go to the local clinic, they will do one for free and it is definately accurate (blood test).

that's funny i was on birth control for 3 years and got pregnant, my son was born this september 6th, but anyways...birth control is weird, if u took tests and they said negative then mostly likely you arent, your body's just going threw a change since you havent been on your birth control...you should probly go to the doctor if u dont get your period soon or take another test...i took four tests when i found out i was pregnant and i was only like a month and they all showed positive. best time to take it is in the morning.good luck

When you stop taking birth control, it can take your body some time to get back on a regular menses cycle. If you experience symptoms of pregnancy and still get a negative pregnancy test, see your GYN for a blood test as your body may not have a high enough level of the HCG hormone for the pregnancy test to detect. You might also look into comittment, marriage. Every baby deserves a stable home. Best of luck!

Be patient as you it's normal to not get pregnant right away. If you've taken 3 pregnancy tests and they came out negative, it's more than likely that you're not pregnant. Just know that some people don't get pregnant as fast as others.
If you're really concerned about this, make an appointment with your doctor.
Good luck.

if its 27 days since you have not had a period most likely you are pregnant
make sure you really think about what your getting into. being a mother is a great big responsibility and if you are not capable of handling your responsibility then you should not have a baby also see where the father to be is at right now with his life you want to make sure there will be a father involved it takes two to care for a baby not just one person. its not fair for the baby ...
im 25 i live alone have a wonderful supportive boyfriend well fiancee i just got engaged practically four days ago, and im 8 weeks pregnant, and im still not entirely ready even though i have lots of support from both families...i start to think to myself im going to be a mother and many things will change in my life........
so please make sure its something u really really really want...... its not a game.
GOOD LUCK

It might be possible that you dont have your period because you were on birth control for so long. If I were you I would go to the doctors for a professional test to see whats up.
