At the moment I agree England is going down the pan mind you most of the cabinet are from Scotland.
I have travelled the world and visited some great countries and some not so great. I always liked the journey home, we are very tolerant with other people in this country and most people tend to get on with each other only the few are able to spoil it for everyone else. These people should be severely punished and sent to one of those countries that don't tolerate any nonsense.
Once we have our respect and laws back to sensible way then the country will be a lot better. But for now we have to listen to the drivel that the government produce. A lot of talk and no solutions only looking at whether there will be enough voters able to vote.

England is part of the European Union. The EU does not appear to be "going down the drain," but, not unlike many other nations such as the United States, it faces many political hurdles in the near future - although England does not have a national debt anywhere near a proportionally high as the United States' national debt. The U.S. debt is now approaching seven trillion dollars. That's a lot of Wendy's frostys!

Has gone down drain lad, is just sliding round U bend. What do the english expect when they have become a nation of car clampers and debt collection whores. England needs to change it's laws to Scots standards. You English need your Independence.

Definately not. It is still one of the best countries to live in despite the weather. Having travelled to over 40 countries, its still the best (and I grew up in South African)
I think the world is changing, social decline is global not just the UK, emerging economies like China are in the news but life is still much tougher there than here.
As we get older so things always seemed better when we were younger.
