Ya....my husband told me he couldn't buy a date before we got married and once we did he was surrounded by available women. I think it's the forbidden fruit deal too. What guys need to remember (as well as girls)....those type of people who don't respect commitment, will dump your butt as soon as you've been "had". Thrill of the chase.......touching the untouchable. You always want what you can't have and then when you get it, the thrill is gone. Sad.......

Yes, I have found this to be the case. I think women see a married man in the same way they see a gay man; they are off the market. It is for this reason that they feel comfortable that they can have fun with a little innocent flirting without any return on his part. I think it just feels safe.

My take: some not-so-respectful women see a weeding ring and think [1] he is marrying material, [2] I can show that b*tch (whoever she is, even if I don't know her) I can steal her man with my womanly goods and sexy ways and curvy body any time I want.
I say that because so *many* women complain about cheating --yet men don't cheat alone - they cheat with women. And if women *really* felt that cheating was awful - they wouldn't do it!
Alas, I think men are just the currency women deal in sometimes.

Well, I'm not a man but, I think SOME women flirt with married men because they are a challenge. Married men are easy targets for hungry viscous women. Those type of women feed of that energy because they know that , that man is attached and vulnerable!!!!

Yes I do, there is a girl here at my work that flirts with me all of the time. She is single and 25, I m 37 and married.

Look men and women both do this. The main reason is if they are married they do not have to worry about any committment, or any drama. Only if they cross the fine line is when there are problems and drama.

I know I am not a boy but I can tell you why, forbidden fruit and sometimes because they wont get the wrong impression that you like them or something. I'm married too and I feel more comfortable having laughs with my co-workers who are married because they know its innocent fun.

You don't even have to be married. A committed relationship is all it takes for you to shine with that confidence and unavailability that signals "challenge".
Keep that in mind and cultivate that quality along with affection and respect in your marriage, and you'll have a happy wife.

Absolutely! The reason I think is they want to see if they are still desirable enough to even grab another womans man or if they really want you it is like stealing another womans trophy. Personally, I don't get it, but that is the best i can come up with.
