p.s If you can not view the PDF it is a Westell Proline. It says "Manageable DSL modem with ethernet, USB access and NAT router features." There is more info on the PDF.

No this modem/router combination does not have wireless capabilities. So you would need to add an access point (or wireless router) in order to be able to use it with a wireless client. For home use, you would probably be better off with just a common DSL modem without the builtin router and a wireless router, as it would be less complicated to set up.

Any highspeed modem will allow wi-fi. It is not the modem, it is the access-point or router that you will need to use in conjunction with it that makes your network connection wireless.

So yes, it will work, you just need to get some more hardware, try looking here:

that link keeps freezing my computer, but based on what you wrote in the p.s. it will not do wireless. if you look at the pdf again look for something that talks about 802.11 a/b/g. those are wireless standards if it has those capabilities this will definately be mentioned somewhere. good luck

Any WiFi card is anticipated to paintings with any WiFi Hotspot because of the fact instantaneous has instantaneous production uncomplicated. yet, if your card producer does no longer follow the instantaneous uncomplicated, it is going to no longer paintings with basically any hotspot. i advise which you purchase a properly-enjoyed instantaneous card and set it to paintings in 802.11b first in case you on the instantaneous at the instant are not specific of the hotspot settings. If it paintings, then set it to 802.11g for extra useful effective information fee and if paintings then you definately fairly are ok, else revert to 802.11b. some older LinkSys I used did no longer paintings with basically any instantaneous card - I dont know of the recent fashions of LinkSys (mutually as the playing cards paintings with Planet, Dlink and CiscoAironet).
