his point was that if you run for president and you're a total moron, you'll get your troops stuck in iraq, blow the biggest budget surplus in history, and lose more americans in the "nucular" war on "ter'r" than we lost in the 9/11 disaster.

i'm not saying that democrats are better than republicans, i'm saying that ANYONE is better than the republicans in office now. there are better republicans than the ones in power now.

i tend to put more stock in the words of a vietnam vet than in the man who didnt bother showing up for his duties to protect oklahoma.

Andrew Jackson was once told that if he continued to say what he believed, that he would never be ppresident.

Jackson's response was; "I would rather be right, than President."

God we could use Jackson again. a president with an IQ of 80, how can you not make fun of hm? Kerry stumbled over his words, everyone knows it, it won't be an issue. Unfortunately, this is the best thing the repubs have seen in a month, so the will play it for all it is worth.

I long to be inspired by my President, whether he is a D or an R. I would love to have a man like Barry Goldwater again, hell, I long for Nixon as an R. He was the last great Republican President.

Let's repeal that danged amendment so we can have Bill back. Wouldn't it be nice to have an intelligent and thoughtful, and articulate man in theOval Office again?

Kerry really hates the Democraps, huh? Why else would an experienced public speaker allegedly skip the most important line of a "joke" and end up insulting the one group of people who deserve our respect? The Repukelicans and Democraps have perfected the art of confusion and misinformation. They're so good at it, that most of you still believe that there is a difference between the corrupt parties!!! Even better, they've convinced those sheep minded individuals who cling to their political party that the USG has your best interests in mind. Now that is impressive.

You mean:

Kids, study hard in school and learn not to put your foot in your mouth like John Kerry, etc etc.

This episode illustrates why the entire Klingon Demokrat Inter-Galactic Fleet is soon to be sucked forever into the collapsed star -aka Black Hole- of insignificance.

The incalculable gravity there is so overwhelming that not even a particle of light can escape.

About time, too.

I don't understand what the question ??
Kerry's statement said to me we should study hard so that we don't have to join the military & fight for our country.
1. It is an honor to be able to serve in the military.
2.Wasn't Kerry in the military??
3. I had a BA in political Science before I joined the military.

I come here for troll humor, intentional or otherwise, and I'll swear, you guys never let me down.

Let's be for real: Kerry's comment was no more outlandish than Bush's "I'm the decider", "bring it on" or "stay the course." Not a bit of it.

Twist, spin, alter, etc. That's not what he said and you know it.

He did say something stupid, but it was a dig at Bush not at the troops.

Actually, you're not too far off-- what he meant to say was study or you'll end up President who has mismanaged a war and is now stuck there.
