Anybody familiar with Wanda Sykes? I like her and think she is funny and attractive, but I have a hard time getting past her sarcastic, cynical outlook on life.
She seems to have a pretty good career going playing wise-cracking black best-friends of white women.
Please feel free to offer opinions about Wanda. Like her? Loathe her? What do you think?

Wanda is freakin hysterical! Actually I think that her sarcasm and cynical attitude is precisely what I like about her. She's clever and witty and THAT is refreshing as opposed to some other so called "comedy" that's out there. I think she probably would be an excellent dramatic actress if she wanted to. She appears to be pretty well rounded and grounded-has alot going for her. Personally, I don't think she gets near as enough credit or exposure/success as she deserves.Just love her!

Wanda is okay. But it seems like she cant carry her own show. She had that sitcom on Fox that got canceled,(but it was decent) then she had that show on Comedy Central (couldn't get into it) I tried to watch her stand up special a few weeks ago, but 10 minutes into it, I didn't laugh once. The the outlook on life, well I know she was married & had a nasty divorce so that maybe why.

I love her and think she should appear on The New Adventures of Old Christine more often. She also did a great skunk in Over the Hedge.

I think she's funny, witty, smart. I saw her live, it was hilarious!
I liked her show Wanda at Large when it was on. They should bring that & Whoopi Goldberg's show, I forgot the name.
They are both "unpolitically correct" I love it!
