Is he a good wrestler? No...not really.
Is he an entertaining wrestler? Sure
Rob Van Dam is what wrestling fans call a "spot monkey", meaning that he can do a few big, flashy moves, but for the rest of the match, he is sloppy and cannot wrestle on par with a more technically gifted performer, such as Kurt Angle, Bret Hart, Lance Storm and Bryan Danielson.
I don't mean this as a knock on RVD. He is a very entertaining performer, and has been since the mid 90's with the original ECW, but as far as his wrestling ability, he isn't that great.
Incidentally, if you are a fan of RVD, do a search on YouTube for a ROH wrestler named Jack Evans. I think you'll like what you see.

He's the ONLY good wrestler in ECW!
He may be a pothead, but I LOVE watching his moves!
Nobody in the entire WORLD has cooler moves than Mr. Monday Night! I'm glad he left RAW. He was too damned good to stay there and be held back. Now he can shine! I just wish they'd get rid of The Big Show. He just sucks.

yes he is a good wrestler for the old and new ecw but the new ecw sucks just like wwe.

I enjoyed it more when he wrestled in the WWE brands (Raw or Smackdown), but yes he is a good wrestler for ECW.

Well, since he was arrested for drugs I don't think he, or anyone else arrested for drugs, should be allowed to be in a position to be a so-called role model for children and that's what a lot of them have become. It's a shame!
