You should go to the doctor to determine what caused the bleeding because that it not normal if you had just completed you period, also you should have them do a pregnancy test on you because you could be pregnant from having the unprotected sex the day after you quit taking the pills, also the pills dont gurantee you wont get pregnant to start with

Take a pregnancy test.
See a doctor soon. Even if you are not pregnant.
I think you need to understand how pills or other contraceptive works.
Most are hormones must be taken as directed or the can cause problems.
You also need other protection, against AIDS and STD unless your partner is a husband only, not a boy friend.
There are so many other more convenient methods. Ask the doctor.

A womans body chemistry and hormone levels are very complex. Birth controls work by helping to regulate and change the levels of hormones in your body. When you suddenly stop taking them, your body can be out of whack a little bit. It sounds to me like the light bleeding you experienced was due to your changing hormones. I don't think you are pregnant, but it is hard to know anything for sure. If you normally experience a regular cycle, you probably had not ovulated yet.

There is every possibility of you getting pregnant as the intake of pills was not regular. One more thing the sperms remain alive for 48 hours after the intercourse.
If you do not want any pregnancy at this stage then it is high time for you to go to a doctor for immediate consultation.
Sometimes one becomes overconfident, and sometimes others make you to believe them, whatever may be the reason.the fact is you might have got it.

More likely you messed up your cycle by not taking the pills correctly. If you can't take the pills properly then insist your partner use a condom.
I suggest you wait two weeks (no sex!) and use a home pregnancy test to see if in fact you did become pregnant.

birth control pills are effective only after you have taken them regularly for two months during which time a barrier contraceptive is advised . discontinuing pills causes irregularity of periods for a short duration, the bleeding ur having is this sheding of uterine desidua. sorry since you have had sex during this time u can b pregnant. but you can wait till the expected date and see if ur regular bld occurs ur probably safe.

don't worry be happy.oral pills are success only if taken regularly without break.but you had your periods safely and afterwards you had sex in first three days which carry less risk. if you want to enjoy sex be regular in your medicines or try another method there are plenty now a days.

because you just started your body isn't used to the pills which could give you a higher chance of pregnacy .. and without taking those pills on time(you also increase your chances) i would go and take a test as soon as possible and trust me if you just take your pills on time and wrap it, you wouldn't have to worry about this all the time

Absolutely you could. Take it from someone who is going through the same thing. Same situation with my girlfriend and she is now 4 months along. If I were you I would go to a doctor as soon as possible.
Good luck!
