What do you think about the Kerry Kalamity?

Just Republicans taking things too far AGAIN.

Actually, Republicans are sort of like Islamic Extremists in a way; always pointing the finger at stuff that doesn't really matter at all.

They were just looking for a Democrat to blame for anything, because their entire party is exploding with controversy.

I think he's the proto-typical liberal--in this case, ever ready to say anything to put down the Bush Administration, even if it means insulting a large percentage of military servicemen; of course, he's shown for half his life that he has no respect for the military, but he's only been upfront about it since 2004. Kerry does, of course, have the right to his opinion on the conduct of the war in Iraq, but it's sad that the level of political discourse has decreased to this point in the last decade or so, that a senior member of the U.S. Senate can feel free to show that kind of disrespect to the Commander-in-Chief; I would expect it of a common citizen, or the liberal media, but I would have thought that even John Kerry would be above such crudity that even Democrats would demand an apology.

Look, Kerry just slapped every American soldier in the face with his comments. He is a hatefully individual and yes, many people want to point fingers at the Republicans for pushing the issue. Hey, the Democrats are pushing the issue on Foley, on Iraq, on just about anything they are against, so I guess that's OK and the Repubs defending themselves and pointing out that Kerry is a coward is wrong. Love the double standards don't you.

I think it's a good thing he's not running for the senate again.

People like him and teddy need to move aside for a more proactive representative of the people.

Whether Democrat or Republican, the United States needs people that will work for the people honestly and quit with the constant hype and confusion.

I think the Republicans are going to keep piling it on, lying and spinning, to distract as many voters as possible from the real issues, and the meltdown in Iraq.

I think it's a test of the collective intelligence, integrity, and determination of the American people. If the Republicans are right about how stupid and easily led they believe we are, then they'll be successful.

Just what Kerry said. Anyone who thought that a decorated veteran would ever try to insult fellow soldiers is crazy.

I thought it was pretty obvious he was making fun of Bush. He was ranting with several Bush jokes in a row and made that comment intending it to mean Bush is stuck in Iraq. That is how I felt when I first heard it. Then the Republicans made news out of nothing and misunderstood his comment.
