Aluminium carbonate does not exist, and has never been prepared as the pure compound. All attempts to prepare it result in aluminium hydroxide.

A basic carbonate, aprox. Al2O3.CO2
Mol. weight 145.95
White, freely pulverizable, tasteless lumps.
Insoluble in water.
Soluble in hot HCl os H2SO4.

No data on melting or boiling point.

Are you sure that Aluminium carbonate exists as physical product or just as intermediary in chemical reactions?
