Two theories - the lodge is the bar inside the hotel OR the HoJo is a franchise owned by a business incorporated as Rendezvous Lodge. (I'm not sure what letter that falls under)

E. The Rendezvous is a club ran and licensed separately from the hotel/motel. Obviously they have a working relationship due to their locations but are different types of operations. It is possible that they may share management somewhere up the business line.

They are the same business. The name of the Hotel is Rendezvous Lodge and it is part of the Howard Johnson chain of hotels.

Two business's owned or managed by the same firm but with different names... ie Howard Johnson bought the Rendezvous Lodge, liked the name, so decided to keep it.
