We're going to be travelling in the Spring of 2007, and the man wants to be close to the walled city... anyone in Quebec would know what I mean. If anyone can help me out that would be fantastic! Thanks so much! If you know a website that I could go to so I can check out the hotel, that would be the best. We would need to have a hotel with a pool and fitness area - and if we can get a fireplace in our room... well... that's just a bonus!

Hi! I live in Quebec City, and the big hotels near the walled city are the Delta, the Hilton and the Concorde. Not to mention the famous Château Frontenac, which is actually inside the walls. These are all pretty pricey, though.

I would advise against the first recommendation of Château Bon Entente, because although it's a very beautiful place, it's VERY far from the walled city. Here are some helpful links:

Delta: http://www.deltaquebec.com/english/location.html
Hilton: http://www.hiltonquebec.com/

Hi, I'm living in Quebec City for 13 years now. I personnaly recommand the Delta Hotel. We had our Christmas Party last year there and people, the food and rooms was excellent. It is just across the street from the Parliament, so, very near the "walled city".
Also, it depends on how long is your stay and your budget.
