Have you ever given out candy at halloween to the cute lil babies(i give out king size bars of candy) and then run out and see the look in their eyes? Awww god its like i want to keep passing it out and I hate to be the bearer of bad news and say its gone. I am the one of two people on my block that gives out candy. Doesnt it hurt? I bought alot too but the little angels kept coming! Another question what is up with the teens in their hoochie mama costumes aged thirteen all the way up to their twenties. Do they tell you thank you? Out of probaby fifteen older kids only two thanked me for their treats. No manners?

yes it does break my heart. This is the first year that I could not afford to give out candy, and the little darlings just kept knocking on my door expecting it. I felt so horrible having to tell them that I didn't have any candy. I had to keep my light on because I was expecting company, so I ended up having to put a sign on my door. It was horrible. to your 2nd question, I refuse to give out candy to teenagers and their parents that come with them! What are they thinking? I had a teen yell at me last night and told me to turn off my light if I didn't have candy. I told him I could leave on my f ing light if I wanted to. there are no laws I know of saying you have to leave your light off. Very Very Rude!

Yeas it is very sad . Many people don't have the Halloween spirit any more. As for me yesterday my boyfriend and i and 3 some of his family were outside in front of his house passing out candy. he was a killer clown and i was an evil dead girl. WE had a fog machine a radio with creepy halloween music and the front yard had light and everything else you can think of. WE enjoyed our selves and scared many little kids.

As for your solution about younot having enough candy to pass out why dont you go to the store and buy candy when there on sale in the snack size instead of the king size. you will have plenty more candy to pass out to the childen and when there on sale you will save money as well. Also instead o getting out chocolate why dont you give out lollipops you get more in a bag than your do chocolate.

As for the hoochie mamas they all just want to grow up to soon.
And there manners well they should have said thank you.

so is this a question requireing a answer ?

or a question you would like to hear people saying (i'm feeling ya dog)
i know whatcha sayin, you go girl or how about mmmmmhhmmm
not sure but yes manners did seem to dissapear its almost as if kids of todays generation feel they are supposed to get what they want when they want it and without any effort or work at all to get my daughter to clean up the bathroom she wants 20 dollars and spends all of 5 minutes doing a lousy job i say to her at that pace when you are on your own if you can get a job that pays that amount youll be rich . she says oh yeah well then thats the kind im looking for then !
the kind that pays 240.00 an hour I say ,she says why is that a lot .I say I hope you are prepared for a big let down and nothing even close to that. But at least you are a good looking girl and its possible you find a husband who makes that much but not likely
REALITY CHECK

That is bad. I let my 12 year old go out this year (his last) but I can promise you he said thank you...he knows better. You're right though there are a lot of kids without manners. I hate seeing the older ones trample over the little ones too.

Exactly, no manners. I went with my younger two while my older passed out candy (regular sized bars) and I was there reminding them the whole while to stay "trick or treat" and "thank you" even at times "happy halloween". Yes, it's a teen mentality to EXPECT their rightful candy booty. I usually say, "what do you say?" and some will say "Please?" LOL, instead of trick or treat. and when I give the candy, I say "now what do you say?' they're like "see ya!" LOL< I think it's kinda funny really. What's the big deal, it's once a year. bothers ya that much, hand out lollypops to the teens and your moster bars to the babies! LOL....

I ran out of candy after going through 10 bags. I felt bad I had to go in and turn out my light. Luckily, the kids that did come by were all very polite and either said "thank you" or "happy halloween."

One year I was visiting my mom and she started giving out candies to the kids. She had also just frosted a cake and left it on the table. I ran out of candy and started to panic because I didn't have anything to give out. It was late and a few kids had shown up at the last minute. So I started thinking,"What would McGuyver do?"
I sliced moms cake and handed it out. But I made it up to her.lol

I relatively have an 11 year previous boy and think of an identical element now and lower back !!! even nonetheless I defiantly think of you mothers with the girls have it plenty worse !!! i do no longer likely think of there is something we are able to do yet enable them to circulate !!! we knew they might advance up we in basic terms have been unaware it would ensue this speedy !!! yet we gotta enable them to advance regardless of if we ought to or no longer if we don't provide them that little bit then ultimately they're going to take it and resent us so all we are able to do is lead them in the direction of the main remarkable course and desire that as quickly as they start to circulate in there very own course that they wont wander to a methods from the trail we set them on !!! sturdy success and in basic terms undergo in concepts the teenage years would be no longer hassle-free in spite of the undeniable fact that it is going to all be properly worth it on that day while they're older and that they inform you Oh my god you have been good I ought to have listened !!!

I know! My 3 year old daughter was being bombarded by these kids who were too big to trick-or-treat. But my little one was very polite, and when she got her treat she said "Thank You" and "Happy Halloween".
