Because people are @ssholes. My phone ALWAYS rings as soon as I have food in my mouth or I am in the restroom.

The same reason when you look fabulous you don't see anyone, but the minute you walk into the store with no make up, wearing sweats with your hair in a pony tail you run into your ex boyfriend.

Well, if you're at lunch, you're not supposed to answer the phone.
Unplug it during lunch. Go to your lunch room/break room during lunch; go out with the girls for lunch; go home for lunch; geeze figure it out.
