You go online go through the purchase order to get a book and they ship to you. Pretty much works that way.

amazon.com works by knowing what you are searching for, clicking on that particular category, and then browsing for what you would like. Add things to a shopping cart, and checkout when ready. Have your credit-card # available!

It's a DataBase with either PHP or ASP generating web pages depending on your selection using the results of a search ( or select statement ) to show the items for sale
