It's normal to have dreams or fantasies, as long as you don't act on them.

Wouldn't waste too much time feeling guilty about the things you can't help. If we could control our dreams we'd be a hell of a lot more excited to get to bed.

Worry about the ones that you can control, the day dreams and fantasies. They may be normal to some, but so is divorce. Just like women might consider porn the wrong fantasy for married men to daydream about, about an old love might be considered the wrong fantasy for a married woman to daydream about according to the spouse involved. Satisfying? Selfish? Sure, but beneficial? Nope!!

Good luck

I assume, you mean "dream" as in "while sleeping" - not "dream" as in "day-dream".

Sure, I have occasional dreams of being with other men in some way. Most of the time these guys tend to be total strangers, actually - I seldom dream about having sex with someone I know. I certainly think dreaming is normal, and I don't feel guilty about anything. Dreams are just that - dreams; random firing of neurons during sleep. It's a biological phenomenon.

Never had the problem. When I was married, wanted only that man. Wanted only to please him, to be with him, and to share time and travel together. Was faithful in mind and body. ...... never looked at another guy. But he cheated, and the trust was gone....the whole thing just evaporated the moment I found out.... I ran away, to another state, we divorced. Am with a lovely man, wonderful, and sweet...... Since he and I ment, never would occur to me to even look at another guy --- guess I'm just a faithful critter...... Probably not very helpful, huh? Guess I've always been this way, since have always chosen appropriate men -- educated, bright, and successful, as am I. Never even considered a guy who didn't "qualify"..... in the areas I thought were important....

The truth is that dreams are our way of exploring things we would never be able to or never actually want to do. For example, being a super hero and being able to fly. We experience things in our dreams which we know we cannot achieve in life and that will lead us to have fun and enjoy our sleep, yet not get us hurt or injured in real life.

It's normal. And the fact that you feel guilty is a good thing actually because it means you are faifthul to your partner. so long as you do not act it out there is nothing wrong with it

Yes I do ...but I had never been with anybody before I got married...and you wonder what it could be and feel like with someone else. Do I feel guilty ....a bit but then I cant help myself. Its an exciting thought to have some one touch you in a different way then your spouse does.

Not often, but a few times. I don't feel guilty, I enjoy them and forget about them. They are just dreams. I have no desire to cheat and therefore I have no guilt.

i don't think you should feel guilty at all. had those kind of dreams quite often about certain co-workers at one time. a therapist friend of mine told me these dreams don't necessarily mean you want to have sex with these people, but rather there were qualites i admired about them. apparently it is quite common.
