That's really a trick question, because some countries like South Africa might have part of their population living a 1st world situation the rest are living on a seriously desperate poverty line. So perhaps you need to look at Egypt or Kenya or Congo where the overall rate is not too great by more of the overall population is evenly balanced - as I said, no easy answer hear.

Nigeria or South Africa since they account for over 50% of Africa's GDP (especially Nigeria because of all the oil they have). The US dollar, British pound and Euro are would get you a lot. $100000 = 14 Million Naira which can buy you a 3 bedroom house, a car and pay utility bills for a year.

South Africa without any doubt and despite the high crime rate. Sadly a great deal of the population still live in poverty while those who are rich are very rich.
