I use to have a georgous wife at home, and she cheated all the time. I think it is a two way street. Some men cheat and some women cheat.

People cheat for different reasons, physical attraction is one but usually cause something is lacking in the current relationship.

It really doesn't matter if one or both parties work outside of the home. They forget about all the things that courting couples do, hold hands, love notes, I love you's, flowers etc. Things that make the other party feel special, loved, needed, respected, appreciated. Those little things that got you to being married in the first place.

If you can't/won't take a few minutes from your busy day and do that for your wife/husband then someone else will. When that happens, you must take some responsibility for what is going on. You failed to give your partner the love, support they needed.

I don't now, nor ever will accept cheating under any circumstance. If your not happy then do something about it, communicate better, seek couselling. Otherwise take the gate and move on.

There are two major possibilities. One is that the man is controlling and abusive and thinks of his wife as his property. He believes that he owns her and therefor does not have to adhere to any form of commitment.

The second is that he is not happy in the relationship and is too afraid to face the failure of the marriage. Many couples deal with this and one or the other party strays. It is not right to stray, but some people do not see divorce as an option or they just cannot face their own failure.

Marriage is based upon much more than looks, but many people fall into the looks trap. It might be nice to have a great looking spouse, but do you like that person? Do you know the person you married? Why did you get married? These are all questions that need to be answered at all times during a marriage or the marriage will fail.

I am not a guy but I feel like giving you an answer.........

It would be like having the ability to have a T-bone and baked potato every night for supper for the rest of your natural life..........After a while you start to really crave a nice juicy Big Mac............You love the T-bone very much and even when you have fries with it and ground it up and put Big Mac sauce on it, it is still just a T-bone but the fantasy of the Big Mac is just too appealing...........Then one day you find your self right in front of a McDonald's and nobody is looking.........And you really, really want a Big Mac............You have some spare time and no body is looking you can have just a few bites of a Big Mac and nobody will ever be the wiser...........Then when you get home and look at the T-bone it looks even better because you just had a Big Mac.......

People (men and women) with integrity don't cheat. People with integrity have the decency to get out of a relationship that isn't working before moving onto greener pastures.

And people don't move on if there is mutual respect, affection, and where both partners are assertive, healthy individuals most of the time that take time to maintain their relationships. Not that I have had that experience: I have seen it in others' relationships, so it keeps the hope alive though.

It has nothing to do with beauty, it´s all about sex. Some men, no matter how gorgeous or wonderful their wife is in other ways, still feel the need for diversity in the bedroom and that´s why they cheat.

Men cheat cause they are ***holes and pathetic. I myself have never cheated and never will but i have friends who do all the time and they tell me it is cause they get bord. Or that they just don't want out but don't want to break it off in fear that something may happen.

your question insinuates that beauty should be the cure for infidelity and it's just not so. men and women cheat because on an animalistic level, we are not true monogamous creatures. while monogamy can be taught, for some, it's harder to turn away from our animalistic instincts to propagate the species.

i have never cheated on anyone , not a girlfriend and not my beautiful wife of almost ten years . i don't think my wife has cheated on me , but i do believe some of my past girlfriends have .
