Rich people are bored and need some sort of politically correct cause to support, whether they believe it or not.
Look at all the 'environmentalists' who are LOADED with cash yet drive the biggest SUV's they can find...

Why would you assume that these rich people are not living near black people that are rich. You have many actors, actresses, musicians, artists, politicians, educators, etc. that are black and live in rich neighborhoods.
Perhaps you are not aware that most rich people live in neighborhoods that justify their income and style. You will find that there are plenty of black people who can well afford to live right along with them.
Perhaps the neighborhoods that some blacks can afford to live in are low income and the rich people would prefer to spend much more money on elaborate homes to show the world that they have "moved on up." :)

Because black people tend to be poorer given the racism that is the legacy of the US's history.
