We're not arrogant at all.

We are merely extremely confident that we are, and always have been, the best at everything we do. We have provided the world with music, culture, democracy, literature, and architecture and, in return, our friends over the pond provide us with McDonalds, Dunkin Donuts and a hundred and one ways to become obese without trying too hard.

I cannot be arsed to pull you up on your appalling spelling, rotten sentence construction, and (at best) tenuous grasp of geography and history - this merely serves to illustrate the culture gap between us.

Some of us strive to improve, others prefer to wallow in the gutter.

OK - so I thought we were talking about Europeans, but evidently you want to talk about colour. Now I've lost interest.............we're all the same mate - get over it.

Maybe it is like people thinking the French are arrogant, when the mood of an American, or others on vacation (Frances main industrial advantage) going over there, are in a good mood and almost demanding of smiles, and reaction to their "on vacation" good mood, when they are just going about their day and expected to REACT to such, and if they do not, they are considered rude or arrogant. Maybe you are just too demanding of a REACTION to your moods, or have an overwhelming need to feel validated and accepted?. You aren't the only one who has a life, things to do, and situations you know.
