I have a remote starter (brand: Bulldog). Got it as a Christmas present from my Brother & Sister-In-Law (including installation). I absolutely LOVE it, as I park right outside my office & have my truck all toasty warm, by the time I leave (or cool in the summer).
I have a built-in compass, which is all that I need. I also have a good sense of direction, so I would never waste money on a GPS. Anyway, it's just another distraction (like using a cell phone, applying makeup, and reading the newspaper, while driving).

it came already installed in the FORD car, sorry, works great though, in the winter is the only time I use it though, at first was wary of it, for fear the doors would lock, and you got to set the controls the night before, so the blower fan comes on too for the windshield

I don't know what brand I got.
I love due to the fact I live in the midwest and the weather is not predictable so I use it when it's raining and snowing and all the other times.
