I haven't ever played World of Warcraft and am going to get the game soon.I am wondering what people think the best class would be and trades for a noobie like me.I am not much into combat as I am into other things like the trades. But I do want to be able to rise up to level 60 whenever I want. What would be a good class to getstart out with?

Well, I'm an noob at WoW too, and i started out as a Night Elf Druid. Druid's are pretty versitile and i like it. But don't take my word on it, click my link and check out the comparisons your self. Good luck and have fun! :)

i think the best is a warlock, then maybe a mage. this is from the experience of playing just about everything. i've been a gnome lock and an orc lock...i much prefer the orc and the whole horde side in general. as for combat, you will have to do it rather often to get XP and level, but not with other characters, just with the game characters. probably 80-90% of the quests rely on fighting something.

good luck, have fun and it's gonna take a while for you to get to level 60...i'm only 24, but i don't get to play all to often because of work.

Everyone says either hunters or warlocks, which makes sense seeing as how you get a pet, but it's not true. Make a human pally, or an orc shaman and you'll hit 60 in no time. Both of the classes are easy as hell to play as. You can deal heavy amounts of damage and heal yourself with a shammy. And pallys can almost replace warriors, while also healing themselves. Druids are also pretty easy, but they can take some skill getting used to.

I have a level 60 hunter and priest on the Kil'Jaeden server. I wouldn't suggest a priest to start out with as your first character. They're considered most difficult to level. Try going with a hunter, rogue, or mage. They're easy to start out with and introduce you to the game well, in my opinion. For trade skills you could try skinning and leatherworking, or enchanting and tailoring. You will have to do quests that involve combat in order to level though. It's really not too hard. Although on average, it takes about 2 months to get a character to level 60. Good luck and have fun!

depending on your likes i always found that warriors seem to be some of the easier characters to raise. I raised a paladin who is pretty fun to work with as well.
