I have a huge scar on my arm..its from when i fell through a window ive always tried to cover it up..but my friend said i should show it off as scars are sexy!! do you agree? I find it embarrassing and feel self concious about it.

I don't think they are neccessarily sexy, but they are unique to the individual. They tell a story about that persons life and you should not be ashamed of showing it off. I have a scar on my thigh from a dog bite and I think it is really ugly, but it is a part of me that made me the person I am today and whenever I go swimming or on holiday I never try to cover it up. Of course people will stare, that is human nature.

Scars are symbols of life experiences. You should NOT be embarassed or feel self-cocious about it. If people ask what happened, tell them. You survived a severe accident and the scar is what is left.

I don't think that scars are necessarily "sexy," but they are intriguing. I have big scars on my ankles and on my chin from being burned when I was little. I also have numerous scars from playing softball for 12 years. Every scar tells a story, and with every story, a lesson. Don't hide your scars! They make you, you!

Scars can be sexy but only if you are comfortable with it. Personally I find body imperfections to be quite beautiful.

i've got three scars on my back, i tell everyone that see's them that they're from when i got attacked by a madman with a knife! they be like "oh my god" and i'd be like, "heh heh, yeah, who the man" and they be like " you oh mighty hardcore knife eating one" and i be like "hmpf".
