Just curious about that. I think the whole idea of ethnic nicknames is ridiculous, but it's interesting to hear some of the crazy names people call each other.

The term crackers was used long before honkeys was used. I'm not hatin' either cause I think everything sits better on a Ritz! :)

lol. "crackers" isn't even insulting. All of the other races have insulting names to be called and white people just get "crackers"?

The reason those names sound ridiculous to you is because the people who created them and use them are completely ignorant and full of anger. The best you can do is pity the poor fools.

Honkey's became crackers at the same time wet back turned into beaner. there is always more than one thing to call someone, but I wouldn't call anybody any racist names because if I did then I'd be killed.................... (Gulp) there is a mexican right over my shoulder and he is making a angry face at me.................. Love you all, it's just too bad my weakass life has to end because of a question like this........ for your information cracker replaced honkey because donkeys are gray, and crack is white.............. the actual word cracker came from florida as in "florida cracker" from when they were clearing the lands to make way for houses they would use whips to scare and clear the gators.

"crackers" make more sense because we are off white, salty and some break easily....... LOL

It doesn't bother me at all...same as if someone called me onion or flour...was real interesting to find out about the whips and alligators though. Thanks for the insight.
