You should be looking at paying about fifteen pounds an hour as rough estimate. I normally quote £20.00 to do an average size garden that would take 1- 1.5 hrs. But I'm in the north so would probably be slightly cheaper.

I answered this 2 weeks ago, but I'll give you my rates again.

In Leeds, West Yorkshire I charge £10 per hour, or part thereof and I don't do less than 2 hours at a time.

However, in 2007 I am going to have to reassess my charges and put them up to £12 per hour as I am not covering my costs properly

This is for basic gardening, for special tasks I quote.

The normal rate is between £15 - £20 per hour for normal garden work, if you ask for landscaping or tree work the price will go up to £50 - £80 per hour,hope this helps

at least £10 per hour and I'm from the north so probably more do it your self its really rewarding if your able and I know have big garden and have been tempted will do my garden but when I cant who knows... hope you find a good one ..... good luck

cheapest would be about £10.per hour..why not get a schoolkid who may want to earn some pocket money.
