This is NOT a joke - rub butter or margarine on it. I was taught this years ago when my mother used to use it for my bruises and now I do the same with my kids!!

Distilled witch hazel is GREAT (available from Boots the chemist).
Other than that, use a bit of concealer to cover it up while it goes
I had huge bruises on my legs after a knee op and witch hazel got rid of the bruises in a few days rather than a few weeks.

You can't get rid of a bruise. If it's come to the surface of your skin it's too late...If you do happen to get hit and you have some nearby, leeches applied directly on the swelling will draw out the rising blood but it would still leave a mark but no swelling and it wouldn't be such a livid purplish color. If the bruise bothers you{the look of it}apply some cover up until it fades.

There is no quick and easy way to get rid of a bruise. You can put something cold on it to ease any pain, and cover it up with make up, but it takes time for it to go away. BTW, if you got the bruise from someone hitting you, stay away from that person and/or call the police. Don't cover up for someone who is physically abusive to you.

Arnica cream helps bring out bruising. it will look bad to begin with but the cream will help the process along. You can get it from Boots and other leading chemists.

Only time will make the bruise go away. You can try some concealer on it to at least cover it up until it's gone.

Use Arnica cream... its cheap ish....... costs about £2:00 - £3:00. and can be bought in most places with a pharmacy ... (Boots, Morrisons, Superdrug) Only one thing though make sure you dont put it on on brocken skin... as it will hurt like hell....

You should just leave it and people will think you are..rough, but if you really want to not show it use some cover-up, can't really make it heal quicker though, just try moisurizers.
