I am hoping some people could help me figure out some suggestions to make up some lost time at a party. The situation is simply we went to a formal for a school event, and I got sick due to some medications I had and ended up puking. I took basically one hour of partying time away from my good friend and she got upset at me. We're roommates, so she I finally asked what was wrong, and now I need to make it up to her for that lost time she could have spent having fun and not taking care of me. She is a good friend to me, and I think I owe her for it.

I cannot give back her 'formal,' so what do you think is the best way I can repay her for ruining her night?

Take her and whoever she's seeing right now out to a fancy restaurant, and maybe even out dancing. Your friend and her BF, you and yours. If you can afford it, a limo would be a nice touch.

^Lots of money.

Deck out the garage (or basement, whatever) like a formal.
Get a disco ball and some tunes. Some of her favorite drinks.
Invite friends to a formal. All the friends don't need to know what's going on, but your friend will, and i'll bet she appreciates it.
Send a friend around in Dad's caddillac for her 'limo ride' to and from the party. Don't let it turn into a giant beer blast, keep it fairly small, 6 or 8 couples, and have a nice time. If you want more ideas on how to do something like this cheap, email me at yahoo.com.

Go get a manicure together or taking her out to dinner. However, if she's a good friend, she should forgive you and get over it. That's what friends are for. As long as you don't do this all the time I hope. Good luck.

If she is a true friend, she should not be mad at you for being sick. Did you get sick on purpose? Did you force her to take care of you? Probably not. I am sure she made that decision on her on. There seems no reason to be mad.
