Personally you might be aswell to use it first and let it drain all the way down untill it turns off. Then i would suggest that you would leave it to charge Fully (there should be a specefied time of how long it should take to charge in the instructions manual or maybe theres a light indicator that will turn a different colour when charged i.e green or white. ) without using it and then when it's fully charged I would personally leave it for a while before i'd use it. But maybe you would be better to ring the shop as to where you purchased it from or maybe ring the Asus Helpline number for professional advice on charging your laptop for the first time.
