Not 100% sure but I want to say Echo and the Bunnymen did a cover of it for the soundtrack for "The Lost Boys."

I've heard a few different versions, but the one I best remember is by Echo & The Bunnymen. I think there's one on a current tv advert, but I've no idea who that is

yes it was echo and the bunnymen, fronted by ian macculloch.. great singer and one occasion where the cover is better than the original

i am sad to say that echo and the bunnymen did it. i hate the whole idea of cover versions. i wish they would not do it.
