Could it be because they didn't learn to write?

I think kids don't like school anymore because its really boring. I think everyday they do the same thing at the same time and they don't like that they need excitement. Also they probably don't like the fact that they have to work. With everything else that is out there like video games there is no way kids want to stay in school when there is other things to do.

When have they liked school? All through history not every single child LOVED school. Maybe you mean when it was required for kids to go to school? School today is more of an obligation and chore than a luxury like it was not even 100 years ago. To go to school and finish high school back then was BIG. Today not so much. THe Smarter we get and the more technology we use the more kids are required to know and do. I wouldnt want to go back to elemenatry school for anything.

kids have never enjoyed school.
ask your grandparents...they may fib and say, "oh I loved going to school". They are just saying that so that you will go. And, it is important that you go to school, because you will not be able to get a job or live on your own (w/o your parents helping you) if you do not at least finish highschool. And, if the sentence you wrote is an example of your spelling, then my dear, you are in Desperate need of an education.

Today the classrooms are so much larger that the teacher only has time to do what she has to. There is no time for one on one help. If a kid is falling behind the class still goes on. Teachers used to care about thier students.

Schools usually choose one method of teaching and not all kids are able to learn in the same way. I've seen bad teachers that hardly any students like but the school can't fire them because of Tenure.

because of the increasing pressures,lack of care,and competitions in schools..which DE motivates kids from enjoying school..but it s not an worldwide phenomena..i guess that as long as kids has got support and love at home.they wont have a problem in adjust to school life.

the school districts pressure the teachers to teach to state acheivement tests so they'll have good ratings, thus the teachers have a harder time making education more interesting. not to mention that schools are deathly afraid of another columbine happening, so going to school is becomming more like visiting a prison.

Because teachers don't teach but instead expect kids to be geniuses when they walk in and know everything. This makes it very difficult if your not a natural geniuses.

hey i LOVE school cos its so much of fun going crazy laughing with ur friends,imitating teachers, having fun .though this year i have my boards(they are these really important exams we give in class10 and 12 in india) which means a load of studying still i feel school is loads of fun.
