Ok...I'm not above shopping at Goodwill, Salvation Army or anything like that. In fact, I've found some AWESOME clothes there. However, Salvation Army first of all, should be checking the clothes before they put them out on the floor. They don't usually take stained, ripped, or torn clothing. Second of all, most that I've been to do not take personal undergarments, unless they are bras. And finally, did you KNOW they had stains in them when you bought them? If so..shame on you! If not, well, then I guess you're stuck with dirty laundry. I would not wear them though. There are just some articles of clothing you shouldn't recycle..like swimming bottoms, underwear, and socks. They're huge breeding grounds for bacteria. You COULD wash them in hot water and bleach, that should kill any pathogens, (and hopefully remove the stains) but I dont know what color the underwear are so I don't know if bleaching would be appropriate. Take them to a cleaners. And for future reference, don't purchase used underwear.

Salvation Army normally doesn't sell severely stained items, especially as personal as panties. You should look into speaking with a manager because maybe the "helpful" teenage associate was selling you some of his "personal stock".

As an option, if you really must wear them you could always do the ol' flip 'em inside-out trick. :)

You should have never purchased them- there are no returns to a second hand store. Looks like you're stuck with some dirty laundry, but I would suggest burning them.
