Ok you were doing good for a while... but Tony Stewart, Harvick, and Jr. do not belong

Jr although a fan fav has not performed in cup series and would definatly have to win a championship or at least be on top of his game for another 8-10 years to even be considered!

Harvick is up and comming but he is another one who has not been conststant in cup. I think we can all agree that he can dominate busch but cup is the big game and no matter how much i like him I would need to see more from him before consideration.

Tony Stewart would probably be your only arguement with me... he is very in-consistant yes he can win like 6 races in a row, but the rest of the year he sucks!! He does although have 2 championships and i guess no matter how much i don't think he deserves them that that alone would put him in contention...

You did However leave out Dale Sr., Richard Petty, Sterling Marlin, Darrel Waltrip, and many more Old Timers that deserve recognition!!

Your question is a very good one.Now the drivers you picked are all from the "modern" era.All will have a chance for the HoF.
But bottom line is a driver must be inactive for 5 years to be eligible for the HoF.How ever some HoF have an active driver wall of fame.

Its between Dale Sr. and Jeff Gordon. Now i'm a great Sr. fan. yet you acquire to furnish credit the place its due. Jeff got here in and took over from Earnhardt like the way Earnhardt got here in and took over for Petty. He carried the sport into the recent technology. the two very gifted and the two large wheel adult men. Now Jeff perhaps the 2d perfect driving force ever, yet he ain't at the back of Petty. He could be at the back of Earnhardt. yet it incredibly is somewhat bias pondering I in basic terms observed Petty usually on the tip of his occupation. additionally you are able to no longer study drivers from distinctive generations. @rick- That replaced into nicely pronounced.

you were doing fine until you put that no talent harvick on the list, and the daddy tail feather riding junior on the list. sorry #8 fans, he cant hold a candle to daddy. the 3 who i would pick are jeff, rusty and mark. the rest are borderline at best. and no hopers at the worst. tony is still in the prime of his career, so i cant put him on either list. DJ, sorry....no way. not enough championships. his daddy on the other hand....1st ballot anytime, anywhere. class acts both of them. but DJ, nope not in the hall. as much as it pains me to dis a fellow texan, but terry is another one who wont make it. not enough wins.
