Depends on the condition. It's probably worth $10-$15, unless it's in totally perfect condition, where it could be worth more.

Also, on the back, under the Eagle, take a look and see if you see any letters. The letter tells you where it was made. No letter means it was made in Philadelphia; S means it was made in San Francisco, and O means it was made in New Orleans. For some years, the mint it was made in makes a difference, but not 1900

There are 4 kinds of silver dollars with that date. The prices I give you, are retails, lowest being for a grade good, highest for an Almost uncirculated. In mint state they are worth more. #1 is just a plain old 1900 mintage 8,830,912 $14-$25. #2 1900-O New Orleans mint- mintage 12,590,000 $14-$25, #3 is a 1900-O but with the letters CC under the O- mintage unknown $35-$200, #4 1900-S San Francisco mint-Mintage 2,284,000 $14-$100. The mint mark is on the reverse ( eagle side ) below the wreath, near the bottom of the coin. Figure you will get 40% or more less for the coin. Some coins I can help grade in this answer section, but some, it is to hard to explain. Silver dollars are in the kind of hard category. See a dealer to have it graded or a collector with the grading book , or they know how to grade. Hope this helps

Hi. I am a coin dealer in the Midwest. The value of your piece depends on its condition and the mintmark (if it has one) on the reverse. Most likely, yours either has no mintmark (Philadelphia) or has an "O" (New Orleans), as they are the most common issues. It may have an "S" (San Francisco) however, and there is a scarcer variety where the "O" is over a very faint "CC" (caused by using a recycled Carson City mint reverse die to strike a few coins- this is the scarcest variety). Values range from around $14-15 for a used piece up to as high as several hundred dollars for a top-notch uncirculated coin, depending on the exact condition of the piece. I would suggest taking it to your local coin dealer to have it evaluated. DO NOT clean or polish the coin! Leave it in its natural state or you may ruin its value. Hope this info helped you out.
