last year when dancing with the stars came on and i seen it was a hit i thought who would watch this inane vapid stupidity are people that starved for entertainment that they watch this drivel? i mean i dont watch tv and this is the reason why the only first run shows i watch are the simpsons and my name is earl cause i like jason lee and sienfeld repeats why is tv so stupid?

TV is a way to escape reality,just like this site.You cannot take it seriously or you become a mindless robot!There are some shows i enjoy, nip/tuck,top chef,and i watched project runway when it was on.I also watch alot of Discovery Health channel.

TV isnt stupid..its just a box ^_~. The people who watch most of that "reality" tv and those who make those shows are the ones who need a shot of culture. Not to offend anyone who watches that stuff..different strokes, right? But as long as there is an audience for the less socially redeeming stuff *Fear Factor, anyone*, it will be made.
