A scholarship is not fair, they are grants that target specific groups either racially, or by study program some even target an age range. Scholarship are private money and he who holds those purse strings make the rules to receive from that purse. Oh and there are Scholarships that are awarded only to white based on their national ancestral origin. The Sons of Italy have a scholarship and the first requirement is you must be an ancestor of a member, since a requirement of member in the organization is being Italian. There are also scholarships awarded by religious organizations like the Knights of Columbus, you gotta be Catholic, There are Scot Clans that provide scholarship to the children of members. So you have selected one scholarship out of a multitude that have special conditions to be eligible for consideration. I your suggest that you concentrate on ones you are eligible for and more on.
