It depends on his communication skills and level of understanding. Dumb doesn't mean stupid. Obviously it wouldn't be you to be the one to tell him, but someone close, who knows him, talks to him, and respects him. They do communicate quite well.

You can easily communicate with blind/deaf people through sign language spelled into the palm of their hands.

you can't miss nothing you never had; they never had a father, but if he was around, they couldn't know because they are deaf, dumb, and blind, but honestly you can't tell them, unless you have a language of physical touch I guess.

I would use braile to let him read it if he knows how...but I believe this is a joke because his inability to speak has nothing to do with you communicating to him that his father has passed...
