sweetheart I'll tell you my personal experience here, I dated my best friends ex-boyfriend during my sophomore year of high school, she told me that she was cool with it and even wished me better luck then she had with him. Well I thought she was serious and it was ok, I dated him, how wrong I was. We were best friends before I started dating him, when I dated him we slowly dissolved, and now 2 years later, she and I only talk during school when we see each other and she's even told me since I broke up with both of our ex, that shes literally hated my guts for going out with him......

my point here is if you really care about your best friend at all don't go out with their ex.

Personally, I wouldn't date by best friend's ex (too much history); I know why they broke up, so what makes me think a relationship with me would be any different? It would also cause some tension between her & I even if she says it wouldn't. Best friends are suppose to be able to talk about everything, including relationships, and I would feel awkward telling her about my relationship with her ex; therefore, no, I would not date her ex. There are plenty of other guys out there to date!

After thinking about it for a few minutes i'd say that ....If you really want to continue being a good friend then find another guy to date even if she says she doesn't care. Maybe she doesn't care or maybe its a test to see what kind of friend you really are.

There too many men in the ocean find another don't date your friends ex's.

Depends on how close you and your friend are. It could end up being awkward, you talking about him around her and being that they are ex's maybe they don't even want to see each other. Also watch out that he isn't using you to possibly try to get back with her...be careful in your choice...feelings can be rekindled

HONESTLY YES!! YOU NEVER DATE YOUR BEST FRIENDZ EX, FOR THE SIMPLE FACT THAT HE COULD COME BETWEEN THE TWO OF YOU. YOU WOULDN'T WANT TO LOSE YOUR BEST FRIEND OVER SOME DUDE THAT PROBABLY DOESNT EVEN CARE ABOUT EITHER OF YOU! IF YOU REALLY CARE ABOUT YOUR FRIEND THEN DO THE RIGHT THING AND LAY HIM OFF! MEN COME AND GO, YOUR FRIENDZ WILL BE THERE FOR A LIFETIME!!

Yes it is wrong!!!! What is up with you then you are not a best friend. That is one of the major best friend rules that everyone knows. Even if they say they dont care, they always do. So if you want to loose your friendship then yeah go ahead date him... f*** him... do whatever, but dont count on having to many friends.

It depends on your friend and the relationship. If he was more like a fling or it was a long itme ago then she may not care, but if this is something that has recently happened I would be leery of it. Be careful and stand by your friend.

No. I let my friends go out with my ex, the way I figure it, let someone else have a chance with the creep. More power to them.

Besides people can be friends with who they want and date who they want because they are probably going to go ahead and do it anyway.

Thats just wrong, I have always went by the number one rule with friends, my ex's are my ex's not yours, it is not right to date your friends ex, and if you do your not a friend, or sorry not a true friend, thats just wrong!
