If he isn't running for president, and he isn't up for re election, why does it matter what he says? It's not like dems would be choosing between him and someone else, so it obviously won't affect their party or their vote. But if independants and moderates (the deciding votes) get sick of hearing about Kerry, would that influence their vote? I'm not talking about stealing votes, I'm talking about swaying the independants...

Talking about Kerry is a ridiculous desperate ploy by Rove and company to motivate their base support into a voting frenzy. That and stem cell research another potential October disaster for the Democrats.

this mid term election for the Republicans is voter turnout. Making sure theirs get out and the Democrat's voters stay out cause they're so disgusted by this whole ugly Republican effort to retain power.

I don't think it will matter. However, he is the head of his party, as there last Presidential Candidate, so it looks a little bad. He had hinted he would run again in the Primary, but I think he just shot that idea down.

Look, the GOP will decide what matters to YOU. All you have to do is be real hurt, upset, and dismayed at whatever they tell you to be hurt, upset and dismayed at. Play your role!!!!
