i have allready used "whois" but i could not get enough information

if you goto http://www.dnsstuff.com
then goto IPWHOIS Lookup
then DNS lookup and change it to NS and enter the ip address the only details you will get is ISP company eg BT, NTL (For UK), etc etc.. comcast
and possible city, but it will never give the persons name, address or any contact details.

go into control panel right click internet and go to it and it should tell you there who the ip is ok babe

Please goto DOS Command Prompt by

"Start" --> "RUN"
then type "CMD" (enter)

U will bring up to DOS command prompt
(u will see, if 2000)

C:\>


after that, you can type "IPCONFIG" (enter) from C:\> for showing your IP

If U in local area network, for showing others IP by type (in command prompt)

NBTSTAT -a

example : nbtstat -a 20.1.2.155

mc affe 2006 firewall may track an attack by ip address give to my isp location and e mail address to send to it if trere is abuse

acutally dwightl.geo there myt b a good reason so it aint illegal or could get them in2 trouble. Ther could be abuse not just hacking. sort your facts out

bring up the dos command prompt
ping -a

example:
c:\>ping -a 10.23.4.21

Why not just use nslookup?

Start - Run - Cmd - "nslookup microsoft.com"

that will give you the ip address of microsoft.com
