I'm looking for a good book.. I've run out of books to read and I can't really seem to think of any...

So, help me out here anyone read a good one that
you'd tell a friend about???

I like almost anything but NO gushy love stories!

Try to read D.H.Lawrence his novels are about love but they are not gushy love stories. They are about real relationship between men and women - no "Titanic" rubbish

The Gutenberg project has around 17,500 old books converted to text, and free for the download. Most old classics are there. Books years ago were different than now; you either love them or hate them, but they are free and there are zillions of them.

"Lucky" by Alice Sebold -- memoir
"Ice Castle" by Jeannette Walls -- memoir
"The Tipping Point" and "Blink" by Malcom Gladwell both excellent non-fiction
I just started reading "Running with Scissors" --a memoir by Augeten Burroughs, seems like it will be very good!
Agree with suggestion to read all Dan Browne novels, can't wait for him to write more!

Angela's Ashes by Frank McCourt is one of my all time favorites and The Alchemist by Paul Coelho is excellent...I just read that one and its so good I would recommend it to anyone.
