ok try this
go onto desktop and click on the right mouse button select properties
then click the settings tab
under display your monitor should be listed if it isnt then disconnect the monitor and reconnect if it is already on there the you will need to check on the same tab that your screen resolution is correct usually 1280 by 1024 pixels and color quality is 32 bit

adjust accordingly and apply

The same happened to me with my CRT and my old TFT monitor.

Sadly it sounds like its had its day.

there is nothing you can do.

With my TFT monitor, it kept turning pink and if I switched it off for a while it would be ok but after half an hour it would be back to normal.

TIP- start looking on ebay for a dell TFT (flat screen) monitor because loads of poeple buy pc's dell.co.uk and you get a monitor included within the deal and they stick it on ebay because it not needed.

On your monitor(the screen) there will be some buttons. press the one which looks like a menu, then scroll through the options untill you find contrast or colour. go on those by pressing the menu button again(it may be different on other pcs!) and then ajust the colour by using the buttons. it may require some trial and error! HOPE THIS HELPS!

Sounds like a graphics card problem, or you have incorrect settings in your display managment. Try right clicking on your desktop and looking at the 'Display' tab - check your colour range etc

Sounds suspiciously like magnetic interference. Tried moving the monitor around and seeing if it stays the same?

follow these instructions very carefully.

switch off computer.
unplug all leads.
place it carefully back in the box.
take it back to shop.
leave shop.
do not ask for an exchange.
do not ask for refund.
dont ever go into the shop again.

this will sort out any pc probs now and future

Sorry to give you the bad news, but you need a new monitor.

You have a CRT monitor and the blue gun has failed. It's cheaper to replace it than get it mended.

Someone could have possibly damaged the monitor and its effecting the display image.
