The cards themselves. No.
it all depends on the person giving the reading. They interpret the cards, so someone who is good will give a good reading, someone who is bad will give you a bad reading, someone who is scamming will give you a scam reading, and so on and so forth.
A good diviner can use darn near anything, and give an accurate analysis and/or prediction. It's just using a sense people in America, or should I say, intellectual folk ignore. Intuition. Nothing or everything supernatural about it. Your subconcious mind sits in back of things, and has alot of information, and computational ability that is usually untapped, the cards are a way of focusing, and allowing it to do it's thing.

You have to have a reader who knows what they're doing and you have to believe in it. I've read tarot for many years, but took a class last year just to brush up. At the end of the course we read each other's tarot. The people I read for were all shocked at how accurate my readings were, but they were open to it. What tarot does is take what you already know and lay it out for you by transferring your energy to the cards. The cards are simply a way for you to give the tarot reader permission to tell you stuff you already know. If you're closed to the idea of tarot reading or skeptical, then nothing will come through because you won't be giving the reader permission. If you believe it, don't let people who don't dissuade you.

Psychics can give accurate predictions while using Tarot Cards.
I’ve been a professional clairvoyant for many years, using my psychic insight and Tarot Cards to guide others on their own unique journeys. I personally endorse the Exceptionally Skillful Psychics of my VeryESP Team. http://www.psychic-junkie.com/famous-psychics.html
But on the other hand, if you want to use the Tarot as an oracle, a form of divination that needs no real ‘psychic ability’, then here is a free download demo for a great Tarot program. To keep the size of the demo manageable it contains the Rider/Waite deck, the actual program will have 10 complete decks. This Demo version of Tarot is a full working copy for 30 days. So you get 30 days to study meanings and spreads! http://www.free-tarot-download-demo.wotsnext.com

Here you go... It is just as accurate as a reading by a gypsy.
It is an old practice and it is actually rooted deeply in the life of Christ and religion. The Fool card is the inception of a journey that leads an indivisual down a path, the deck, as it comes in the box, follows the correct path... When you mix it and shuffle it, your path is revealed supposedly by natural or psychic selection.
You are the factor in deciding your draw. The reader just interprets what you yourself already have it in you to know.
It is a visual aid. Nothing in there is psychic or strange. WHat comes to a man is decided by a man. Nothing magic or spiritual about it. It is like casting lots in ancient times... Same principal.
The images on the cards were created by comission by the Visconte family to be used as a game.
The High preistess card is actually along my personal family lineage. I guess you could say that I am a direct descendent of the woman depicted as the High Preistess (Otherwise known as Pope Joan) people followed her and then the Catholic/Christian, male dominated Church had her burned as a heretic in the 1400's.
Seriously... no sh*it! Im not kidding she was my ancestor.

Each Tarot reader woks different but the answers will be consistent.
You don't have to believe but it helps with an open mind.
Each card picture has it's own meaning and is interpreted as a feeling and understanding
Just enjoy your reading

Tarot cards have many different meanings. Usually they can adapt to many situations. I had a Tarot reading and it was quite accurate. The reader must have alot of experience and psychic ability. My friend read mine. I dont trust the ones online.

it depends on the cartomancer/reader. no you do not have to believe for it to work. i have been reading the tarot for over 10 years. and have a high success rate. certain questions can not be answered by the tarot like, when will i die and what are the winning numbers for the lotto. but for guidance questions and insight into a situation it is a very useful tool. when looking for a cartomancer to go to shop around and you will attract the right one to you.

Hatir Ba Loon is spot on. A true Psychic will use Tarot cards as a focus point but not actually read the cards, I have had many fake readings and have walked out on most of them after getting my money back. Never tell a psychic anything other than your first name he/she should then be able to tell you all the rest.

The reader will pick up on information for you and about you from their spirit guides, the tarot cards are just a tool to help the reader.

as far as i know having a tarot reading is only useful for the reader cause you acan only read your own future or so i've been told, if you want to know your future read someone elses, but like most thing you have to think to work them out, you really can't take them literally.
