Will the free IQ tests on the web actually give you an accurate score? How much do you need to be considered for Mensa? Is there a special process you need to go through to become a member of Mensa?

You need a 132 IQ to be in Mensa. You can join multiple societies as well. You take the mega test if you are an adult, or the Mensa IQ test at a location. Not your house. No computers.
PC tests aren't accurate. Things like International High IQ society tests are the most accurate on the web though they are still very inaccurate. I have taken the Mensa test, I'm 13 by the way, and had an IQ of 178. While taking other tests on-line, like the adult high IQ society test, you can score lower, but also score higher. I scored a 180 on T3 at IHIQS, But only a 160 at tickle, and a 160+ at another site. No special processes other than taking the test and meeting the qualifications are necessary. Hope this helps. Prometheus and the triple 9 societies in my opinion are better.
