my new laptop will arrive soon and i hear conflicting stories about service and speed.......who should i use in the long island ny area?

Well..I live in Queens, NY and I have Timewarner Cable Internet on which I get speed of up to 7.2 Megabits per sec with is blazing fast and the best part is they they had a deal when I signed up so I'm paying $19.95 for the first 6 months with no contract!. They have very good customer service too...I had my cable modem replaced within 24 hours after it died.
