Be fair. The people who have hijacked the Republican party hate most truths that don't lead to profit and power.

Moore can be catagorized with all those misguided souls that claim there was no Holocaust in WW II Europe... When fiction serves a political agenda, they get VERY creative..
Conspiracy theories are like backsides, everybody has one.
The real truth? Bush fired a cruise missle at the pentagon (I still don't understand the motive for that one), the 9-11 pilots were really Israeli, bent on starting a war between Christians and Muslims, Elvis was aboard Flight 97... The passengers and crew were off loaded in Cincinatti and transported by British undercover agents to a safe haven in Eastern Europe....
(did I miss one?)

As an independent thinker, I don't hate any real truths, but the vast majority of Fahrenheit 911 is insinuation, deception, clever filmography, and the typical smoke and mirrors of anyone trying to trick the public into believing something that's not true.
Any partisan can take any situation and spin it to look horrible for the opposition and angelic for their own position, and that's what Moore did. People who dismiss Moore's movie as propaganda are fully justified in doing so because it amounts to only that.

They hate being faced with the truth, period. Sometimes I feel like we're living in world that George Orwell wrote ... everyday there is a new truth and we're expected to swallow it whole, and pretend like we never knew any different. But I think that the truths stated in Michael Moore's movie are not neccessarily the most important ones right now. And as entertaining as the movie is, I think it failed its intended purpose and just gained more support for Bush by gaining him sympathy ... "Oh look, they're picking on him ..."
Its the responsiblity of the minority party to ensure that our leaders are faced with the truth and faced with the hard questions. Unfortunately, they don't seem to do a great job at that.

Republicans hate truth because it burns them like sunlight burns a vampire.
Michael Moore is always very honest and non-partisan in his award winning true life documentaries.

Probably because they're afraid to actually see the movie.
If they did see it, they would know it's mostly facts,
instead of bashing. But, judging by the questions on this site,
I seems like bashing other people is the only thing they
can relate to.

I didn't need to watch that film to know that countries and wars are sources of profits for governments.

Because it is the truth. Truth hurts. They hate it when you provide evidence against their false claims.

First, spell Fahrenheit correctly. Second, their were no 'truths' stated, their were facts listed but the 'truths' were speculation based on cherry picking assorted facts and arranging around a conspiracy theory.

Anyone who can think would recognize those 'truths' to be a work of fiction, much the same as "The DaVinci Code". Or are you one of those who believe that book to be a history?
